Default hmm tryed mark of pain on grifon with my monk farmer see and didn't even take effect?
ewll i been testing my monk farming the grifons with different builds and i tryed a monk/n with mark of pain and completly failed didn't even work ??????
and just to say spiteful spirit is quite a nice skills in grifons farming and so is shadow of fear to reduce amount of dmg done in time....plz someone tell me why mark of pain didnt work ...and i did hit the hexed grifon with my sword so i did do as it said....HELP????

Chances are you had a 'fiery' or some other elemental sword. Only physical attacks trigger Mark of Pain, elemental damage won't affect it.

Also...wouldn't shadow of fear kinda screw over spiteful spirit? Lower attack rate would just decrease its effectiveness...

mo/n with mark of pain.

chances are you were using a wand or staff. unfortunately they do not constitute as physical damage, but focused bursts of energy.
